Robbery and theft is big business when dealing with those who wield stellar credits. Entire worlds can suffer an economic disaster because one insane man has delusions of grasping greed. Into such a financial fiasco Alack Troyus is thrown. Operating on Celeshus IV undercover must bring a dangerous villain to justice during a ritual combat party for the daughter. But, with the mere debt of a credit, Alack's life is to be taken at the toss of a coin.
THE TANDEM AFFAIR
Again Alack Troyus is pitted against the underhanded dealings of the Amazian military machine. Armed with a legal Task Force of brilliant young lawyers, he works incognito to find those who are squandering civilian resources. Ruthless and guided by military brutes, the twists and turns leads Alack from one beast to another. It all concludes in the bowels of Concordia, beyond the day light of sanity and reason. Here, Alack encounters the real meaning of fear.
THE METROBIUS AFFAIR
He is the king of Makishis, young, arrogant and wealthy, reckless squandering his people's riches. So is the part Alack Troyus must play. Aboard a regal spatial liner he must track down the one who sets up such luxury ships for plunder. This secret person is the leader of a pirate band of deep space robbers. But, the one Alack seeks is waiting in the wings, ready to strike down those who have interfered with past operations. Those who tried have been found chilled to death drifting in cold space.
THE DAY-ZANO AFFAIR
It begins with that which can not be seen. The ecology of Antalos IV is about to collapse, wrecking the homes of millions of people; a planetary disaster which Alack Troyus must stop. But, his investigations go far beyond a simple cure, one that leads to another place. In a distant part of his life, something sinister hatches and grows. The new creature shall embark upon a path that will cross paths with Alack and neither will recognize the right to survive; a duet of death amongst the stars.
